Description

The Group `Materials + Technologies´ (GMT) is one of the research group of the Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering of the University of the Basque Country, UPV/EHU, focus its technological and human resources on the development of three main goals: training, research and transfer of knowledge.

The main objectives of our Group are continuous training of researchers and their integration within the group's research activities related to Materials Science in the field of Composites, Nanomaterials, Biomaterials and Biomaterials from renewable resources.

Number of students develops their PhD thesis within the Renewable Materials Engineering PhD Program with the Mention of Excellence, in which the staff of the group takes part.

The research carried out by the group members and the transfer of the generated knowledge result in a high number of national and international research projects, research papers and patents, as well as in the contribution to international conferences.
